A customer from an island state in the Pacific Ocean comes especially to visit the Therme Meran with its 15 indoor pools and 10 outdoor pools in summer, wonderfully relaxing sauna landscapes with a beautiful outdoor area and exclusive wellness treatments and relaxation rooms, known all around the world.
To reach the hotel and then Meran, the customer chooses the well-functioning public service with half-hourly connections both in the direction of Bolzano and Merano.
Late in the evening, the guests stop at the bar to taste the typical products of the area.
At the suggestion of the concierge, the customer opts for a grappa. The customer does not know much about Italian distillates and asks him to explain what grappa is.
The concierge, in his element, explains that grappa is not an elegant product, but a peasant product, since after the grapes have been pressed to make the more or less noble wine, the waste takes on a different life and finds its way back to the peasants or to the more experienced distilleries for grappa production.
"So grappa is environmentally friendly!" exclaims our guest.
We agree with him!!!
