Tasks to complete?
Lawn mowing, flowers to cut, wine list to complete.
Ahh blog!
But how to produce a blog without experiencing firsthand what you write about?
Just in time, a longtime customer insists on spending Tuesday at the restaurant, especially since the weather doesn't suggest high-altitude climbing.
The concierge, equipped with customer and train pass card, heads to the elegant episcopal city where mountain and land meet, Bressanone.
For lunch they choose:
Warm veal head with red onions,
Polenta dumplings with chanterelles and malga cheese fondue followed by roasted veal sirloin with Portobello mushrooms, basil and butter mousse.
Dessert: Macaron with Mora Yuzu and Tapioca. The concierge opted for the opulent cheese variation instead.
All accompanied by a Sauvignon from the Gump Hof farm: it is located in Novale di Presule, in the municipality of Fiè allo Sciliar, owned by the Prackwieser family, where Markus discovered his passion for wine about 20 years ago.
Time to ask for the bill, as the concierge customer disappeared for a moment! The waiter arrives: "The bill has already been paid!"
The concierge got away with it! Thank you Basti, for the excellent lunch.
On the way to the station, a small hotel with a swimming pool and sun loungers: it would be the thing to do, to relax further after such a lavish lunch. But duty calls! No pool, but concierge desk!
Thanks again to Sebastian for a great lunch.
Stay tuned for the rematch!!!!!
